Jeeva vs CUSTOMER JAHAT

Tengah bosan bosan kat rumah, aku dapat video ni dari Adie. Member aku yang ting tong yang suka datang suka buat kacau kat office aku. Aku pernah baling pembaris kayu kat dahi dia sebab dia buat lawak.


Tajuk video ni, CUSTOMER SERVICE ASTRO.




So..ampa semua dengar la video ni antara Jeevanathan dan seorang customer Astro perempuan yang sangat RUDE dan tak reti bahasa.





Aku harap Jeeva yang berada dalam video ni sihat selalu dan masih lagi bekerja dengan Astro. Kalau Jeeva kena buang kerja sangat tak adil la. Jeeva pun orang biasa macam aku. Kalau belum apa apa dah nak kena maki dengan perempuan tu, mana tak panas hati ni. Kita bukan malaikat yang takder nafsu. Kalau kena gigit nyamuk pun kita boleh bengang inikan pula kena maki tak tentu pasal dengan orang.



Adik aku, Surianie the cakcing pun actually kerja Customer Service dengan TM POINT. Hari-hari dia citer kat aku pasai kerenah customer. Tapi inilah kali pertama aku dengar rakaman sebenar macam ni.



Korang rasa salah siapa?


Jeeva pun salah jugak. Sebab dia sudah tersalah cakap. Tapi minah ni, ntah masuk hantu apa ntah...maki tak berhenti. Bawak bersabar la...bagi peluang kat Jeeva untuk cakap juga. Mungkin Jeeva pun dah kerja 7 jam hari tu. Dah berapa ribu call dia kena jawab kita tak tau. Jeeva bukan mesin.


Anyway, aku harap Jeeva lebih strong lepas ni.

We should be professional while handling cust.. especially if its a irate 1.. so i found astro cust service is lack of professional staff that could able to solve cust problem as well as able to accept customers feedbacks.. i guess its time 4 astro 2 make a big sweep for their cust service qualities..

    Tujuan video ini dipost dalam page saya bukan untuk mengenengahkan isu servis ASTRO baik atau tidak, tetapi kepentingan dan kesedaran masyarakat kita tentang pentingnya adab sopan yang sememangnya menjadi kebangsaan kita sebagai rakyat Malaysia.

    Adakah ini cara kita bercakap dengan orang yang kita hanya kenali melalui perbualan telefon?

    Itulah asasnya saya post video ini. Astro tak bayar saya pun. Jeeva pun tak bayar saya apa-apa.

    ni cakap helo pun cam nak telan orang...dier expect org yang jwp tu tak nervous ke sampai agak terlupe sikit etika yg polite nak jwp panggilan customer...itu je pun isu "rude" yg aku dapat tangkap kat sini...bingit telinga aku dengar slang english-tamil dier yang bajet cam bagus sangat tuh...sebab tu r aku cakap dier tu makcik2...

    Yes, Jeeva yang memulakan kesalahan segala perkara ini kerana berbahasa kasar. Sebagai seorang pegawai PR, dia tak buleh mengeluarkan kata-kata yang menunjukkan yang dia AMIK KISAH tentang laporan customer.

    Bagi CUSTOMER jahat tu pula, memang dia ni pun saiko sangat. Saya rasa, dia berani bercakap sangat kurang ajar dan sangat over kerana dia tak nampak Jeeva tu macam mana. So dia buat Jeeva ni hanya satu entiti yang tak perlu nak dihormati langsung.

    Jeeva pula, memang SENGAJA nak buat pasal dengan CJ tu. Dia sepatutnya boleh menghentikan perbualan tersebut sebagai contoh dengan berkata "Im so sorry madam, i have to stop this conversation because you are not giving us cooperation?" duhh~~

    if u ask me abt customer service..u must be ready for anything that comes in the way....u think astro pay customer service representative to get calls from patient customers ah...confirm lah no...as a cust service representative u should be the pro to handle any type of calls..if u can't then u suck big time...loser jeeva

  17. akhirnyer...aku berjaye jugak dengar sampai habis...huhu...sangat mencabar conversation nih rupenyer...sebab aku pun amik mase lama sangat nak abehkan dengar conversation nih...

    hurm...lantak laa...org yg ske sound2 camtu sume aku kelaskan makcik2 jek...haha!!mcm kat kuala selangor nih...bersepah2 org cam customer ni yg penah aku jumpe...junior2 aku pun ader je perangai badut camni...

    seciput je salah pun...huhu...effectnyer berbakul2 marah2...tak letih ke dier jerit2 camtuh...tapi tu lah...cube jadik cam aku...sume customer services yang aku call...walau marah tahap dewa skalipun...tapi aku try gak cool down...tader marah2...abeh2 kuat pun aku bagi ayat makan dalam je...tu lebih effective...masing2 kire paham la tuh...tak kuase aku nak jugak2 cakap ngan supervisor...dapat cakap ngan customer service pun cam dah besar rahmat dah sebab penantian untuk dilayan terjawab jua...haha!! sayang bil tepon woiii...

  18. No. Must i repeat that im not a representative from ASTRO.

    Im a personal assistant serving in USM, Penang. This is just something that i wanna share with all about telephone manners and how to handle your customer.

    There was once i went for a seminar specially for P.A in USM, one of the topic was about telephone handling. And the best tips i got from the lecturer was, please handle each calls like IT WAS THE Prime Minister calling you!

    But as for this matter, its clear Jeeva has been called by NOt-The_Prime-Minister!!

  21. i am from cust svc/ call center based company.. i used to answer cust's call waaaaaaaaaaay more irate than this fooked up lady... i might understand if this jeeva fellow couldnt help but feeling a bit irritated but hey, THIS comes with the job.. this is what your job is all about.. if jeeva failed this call then he should look for another job laaa... seriously

    and judge yourselves.
    My comment:
    Let me tell this at the beginning of this email, Mr.Jeevanathan, my support is
    always there for you. It is ok if your English isn't on par to the person who
    spoke to you on the phone, but at least, your moral value isn't down to the
    drain as the person who spoke to you, namely, Miss Kanangambigai.
    Instead of her wanting to sue you or threaten you, I think you are more liable
    in bringing this matter to the concerned authority for the way words were lashed
    out at you. Mr.Jeevanathan, you have been patient throughout the conversation.
    Hats off. To me, it sounded more like a human trying to mimic a dog's bark!
    Miss Kanangambigai, if ever this mail reaches you, please convey my
    appreciation to your mother who volunteered to assist Mr.Jeevanathan on how to
    deal with his job. She did a good job. Though she misinterpreted a little lot
    from the telephone conversation you exaggerated, I wouldn't blame her, because
    she was listening only from your side. In fact, her demands from 4 hours to 1
    hour, that is a matter that only Astro Technical Support can repair and estimate
    of when the service will be available and you can't hold a Customer Service
    Personnel for that. But at least she had a better comprehension of moral
    values. She was kind enough to help someone she doesn't know, but I wonder why
    she didn't provide you a little lesson on Moral values….
    As for you, Miss Kanangambigai, I don't comprehend what is it you have
    against a staff or a customer service person. No doubt you are paying, but just
    to remind you, majority Malaysians are subscribing Astro, and let me be frank, I
    have faced numerous problems with Astro Service too. You are not the only one,
    and to remind you once again, you are not the only one who is paying to Astro!
    Having an Indian name, you didn't want to speak Tamil, oh why, you find it a
    disgrace? Let me tell you, it is a disgrace, not just for Indians but also to
    the society to have someone like you, who doesn't know how to speak in the
    first place. Maybe your English is good, but being a PR, I am sure you mother
    knows good moral value, get some lessons from her! And yes, the way you spoke to
    you mother was also beyond limits. Let me tell you this, learn how to speak,
    Learn SOME Moral Values (I mentioned some, because for a person like you, to be
    a person with full moral
    value is simply hard). And don't you ever, let me repeat, DON'T YOU EVER
    look down at any man/woman based on their job rank, or spoken language. If they
    are wrong, correct them don't condemn. Even if you are the richest person on
    earth, even if you win the spelling-bee competition to prove that you have good
    English, if you don't have Moral value, and important of all, if you don't
    have respect for another person, you are as good as trash!
    Maybe the Astro lack of service wasn't your problem, but NOW, the phone
    conversation is on circulation, and it is not just your problem, but the
    nation's problem. Let me remind you, you have dug your grave deeper than what
    you should! Mr.Jeevanathan has an ace in his sleeves, but you have nothing but
    your rotten attitude. If you have the guts to go to Astro, if you dare sue,
    and if you dare to terminate Mr.Jeevanathan, go ahead. Let the truth and justice
    win over the devil that has come in your form!

  27. u'olls, bukan senang tau nak jadi customer services. Jeeva mmg dah dibayar gaji untuk menerima suma itu. so Jeeva kene terima seadanya. Pada sape2 yg pandang rendah pada cust services, ini laaa yg diaorang harung hari2. Suma customer call untuk cerita problem. Sbb tu wujud call center. Tapi, klu dapt org yg handle cam jeeva sampai bila prob nak settle. tak nak highlight this tu Team leader dia? y?

  34. at 1st valuation..Jeeva seems mumbling..not confident in such ways..then came faults he did blaming customer in direct sentences..there's a proper way to tackle this kind of customer..ive noticed when jeeva asked weather she used old or new card..theres a definite LOW tone..starts from dat Jeeva can tackle by not gettin cust upset..u cannot "teragak2" when speaks with this kind of lady..in CUST SERV of cos u know this is daily prob man..dont mumbling..u are getting cust a POINT to FIRE you!..another is she(shits!) asked supervisor..simply Jeeva mention they not around..come on..cust now sudah tau all this bluff..u can say to check weather they around or not...for me...just layan aje customer mcm tu..u nak bluff,u can bluff,but do it in a brilliant way..

  37. Hats off to Jeeva first,

    I used to be a CS before, and if I were in Jeeva's shoes at that moment, I would have blown off in the first 5 minutes of conversation. F the job.

    He's experience handling customer might be not up to the standards but nobody were born perfect. It takes time to perfect these PR skills. But this Jeeva is has with a lot of patience, which Astro should be proud of hiring.

    If Jeeva did not utter the word "Its Your Problem”, most probably, it could have end up another worst situation as the nut woman were looking for a punching bag and release her anger. Instead of showing her anger to Astro, she managed to find a victim for her temper.

    I’m an astro user too and used to have some disputes when itemizing my bill, but I know the person, which sits on the other chair, is a human and not an answering machine. I had personally told the CS that astro (the company) sucks in service but I don’t put the blame on the CS.

    I don’t find it hard to co-operate even in hard times with anyone unless it’s a person with negative perceptions that think that everyone else is wrong.

    Note to all customers out there. Customer care/service is not a place where you bash people or release your anger. It’s where you get help to get any of your services fixed.

    If you are pissed off with the service offered (in this case, provoked CS), kindly refer this to the next level "politely" or do a proper complaint.

    We all aware of the rights of the customer, but please be ensure we honour humans basic rights where the respect should be given and taken.

    All issues, if were handed positively, will end positively.

  40. ive been working s cust serv 4 more than 5 4yrs. i knw there hv pros & cons based on this converstn.

    4 Jeeva :
    He may
    - talk clearly & confidentally so that cust can build confident on him EVEN not with AStro.
    - aftr cust hv the confident, we can straight away cut off the line
    - on this case of call, as frontline we no need to assist, we can straight away transfr call to higher lvl eg, TL @ Sup's.
    - straight tell the cust " ma'am, if u still used tha bad word like this, i'm afraid i cant help u @
    i can assist u but if u continuosly use ths kind of word, i hv to stop this call.
    AFtr 3x keep repeat the same thing, she still use the bad word, we hv the right to cut the line.

    It is alrdy stated in evry call ctr@cust service training.

  45. firstly i'm a bit suprised cause there are still customers acting like an idiot. Come on la, you think you are so big ahh?? And some more, still have the guts to say that Jeeva is not speaking proper english. Are we living in UK or what? Guna Bahasa Malaysia laa... If you want people to speak proper English, than migrate to UK laaa... why stay in Malaysia. Worst case, go back to India. There people speak English better or maybe the tongue twist more than the words. In any areas, be it customer service, support team or whatever, respect is important. How can you earn respect if you yourself don't know how to respect others? Both callers don't speak good english also. Their grammars are poor and they dare to boast they speak better english. Chehhh!! And the best part was, she can say "I'm from PR and this is not the way to talk to a customer". Allo!!, if you are good in PR, you yourself are very organised and resolute matters. Asking for apology does not resolve anything but coordinate and target to achieve on how and what to be done in order to resolve the matters do. Frankly, from my opinion, worst case scenario, Jeeva can make a police report that the customer is threatening him and wish him harm financially and emotionally. Then we'll see who would apologized to whom in court of law. Sue until it can make her bankrupt la. That's the only way these kind of people be taught.

    Not everybody can be a CS representative or whatever they called it. For those who feel that they cannot deal with difficult situations, NEVER think of having...even the tiniest intention of landing on such jobs. You're not just making yourself miserable, your customers too. So, prevention is the WORD here.

    As for the lady, a bit too far for our regular eyeview but we also need to rethink what makes her go to that extent. I agreed that she shouldn't be throwing her tantrum on Jeeva but the truth about CS is... they're paid to swallow all the cursing and swearing from the customers. CS are paid to be abused. Seriously. That's why there's a call centre, frontliners! The frontline to receive all the blows from irate cutomers. But the ops manager or supervisor or team leader, of course won't tell you all this.

    Anyways, ASTRO need to improve all their services including CS. ASTRO have been taking so much from the people, they could at least pay us back with good services.

    And I believe none of these will happen at the first place. Dig?

    I guess I am bit late to actually comment on this case; however, I just have to do it. Firstly, I am not from Malaysia. A friend from this country told me to check this out. I was extremely shocked to listen to the clip! Oh My God!
    Well, I absolutely have to agree with what most people here have stated. The customer was indeed very very very rude. She was pouring out her rage into the innocent customer service employee. I do acknowledge the fact that the employee did a major mistake by saying 'that's your problem' but then again he did not sound rude. Moreover, his intonation indicated that what he meant was not actually as rude as what these words literally mean! (Does that make sense?)
    The customer was rude in several ways. I think many people have had their chances to identify these issues.
    Language is a subtle subject and no one has the authority to insult or tease a person based on their language skills. Although customer service employees have to be really good in their langguage, they also have to be equally good in terms of manners! From what I have heard, the employee has a terrific manner. Everyone has flaws...and his was the words he said to an angry lady for just looking for a reason to fire somebody..guess what, Jeeva..you gave it to her! I hope the employee takes this as a lesson to improve his customer service skills.
    As for the lady, she really requires some ground breaking foundations of moral values and manners plus some language fluency as well!! Trust me, lady, your language wasn't good..it was just 'ok'! In fact, I can identify a number mistakes you made in terms of language usage. What i see from i stand is that the lady was basically too rude. Yes, there is way to speak to a paying customer but please do not forget that this is also a proper, well-mannered way to talk to a customer service employee!

    Jeeva has replied that he was not terminated, his contract with CS Astro ended on 30th July. The conversation with the Kanaga Tembikai happened in 25th July. Jeeva which the real name is Siva was actually got permanent job offer from other dept in Astro, but because of this issue he was rejected.

    im not saying ASTRO service is any good, and im not in any way defending Miss kanangambigai for her actions. but i have to admit that i understand her frustrations coz personally, i dont think ASTRO as a sole satellite tv provider in Malaysia is living up to its reputation when delivering service.

    as for this kanangambigai case, i think her calls might have been forwarded 10 times before getting to jeeva. i would have been mad if i get that. but nonetheless, she was out of line on that particular phone call when insulting jeeva personally, whereas jeeva had controlled himself considerably well throughout the conversation.

    but dear mr jeeva, i think i have to be on kanangambigai's side when she asked for the supervisor. it is unacceptable to have that excuse coming from a service provider. but then again, maybe jeeva is trying to do his best to stay his supervisor out of this, i dont know. but yeah you should've granted the crazy woman's wish when she insisted. after all, u always have that recording of the conversation to justify your act in any way. that's why they always have the disclaimer 'this conversation may be used for our quality training purposes etc....'

    oh speaking about the recording, considering the level of madness kanangambigai was in, i think she would not hesitate to take legal action against ASTRO since the recording had leaked to public. haha.. now she has the upper hand and have a great chance of having the last laugh.

    unfortunately, yes, customer is always right. and in a legal standpoint, kanangambigai had done nothing wrong (OR maybe threatening jeeva might be used to charge her for death threats hahaha)

    lesson here is, think before u do and that goes out to both kanangambigai and jeeva.

To Jeeva, im sure he wanted to mean "You can call again if you want to and ask another CSE to get you the supervisor, if you wish to do so 'it is up to you'=(that's your problem).But unfortunately, Ms K has taken the oppurtunity to use that statement as a point to attack Jeeva, whether msK misheard? or misunderstood or pretend she didnt understand what Jeeva really meant?
    By the way, EHEY im joining astro CS soon! and im sure this is going to be real good experience for anyone! (CSE ppl with temper/anxiety problem should learn to take a few tokes before shift*jst kidding)
